2021 Teams Attending (Pending Covid19 updated guidelines)
Dear 2021 Wenatchee Valley Season Opener ENTRIES/Penciled In teams,
First of all, thank you guys for being so patient over the past year with the unpredictability of playing tournament baseball. Believe me, we want to get back to the kids being on the field safely, and as soon as possible. The above link outlines the WA state definitions of “competitions” (group gathering) regulations. Currently, Wenatchee and the surrounding areas are in a PHASE 2, Moderate Risk status that prohibits tournament play. The facilities that support our event in the community of Wenatchee, E. Wenatchee, and Chelan Co. have communicated in some cases that the event cannot be facilitated because of these guidelines. Also, because the event relies on many different facility factions (county, school district, and municipal), the changes in high school seasons combined with local facility demand and local play has made it difficult to access many of the fields we have used in the past. Our program is designed for TOURNAMENT PLAY. Because of the above circumstances, we have made a difficult decision to cancel the event.

- Transfer entry directly to the Tri-Cities, WA event scheduled for June 19-20, 2021
- Transfer entry directly to Redmond, Madras, Bend, OR event scheduled for May 29-31, 2021
- Transfer entry directly to Bend, OR event scheduled for July 3-5, 2021
- Refund entry (-20%) if registered as NEW 2021 entry
- Refund entry in full if already “rolled over” from 2020 cancel
