TRI-CITIES FATHER'S DAY SLUGFEST
Event Format: 4-Game Guarantee, NO FRIDAY GAMES. Half of teams will play at least five games.
New age Cutoff information for 13u & 14u teams:
*13U Division players who turn 14 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are in the 7th grade. Also, any player turning 15 prior to May 1 will not be eligible.
*14U Division players who turn 15 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are in the 8th grade. Also, any player turning 16 prior to May 1 will not be eligible.
**Additional verification will be needed for these players.

Triple Crown Washington Baseball Divisions of Play:
Division 1: This is our most competitive division which includes “Select / Elite” teams and is also open to any team that wants to compete.
Division 2: When you see Division 2 (or D2) after the age group that indicates a bracket designed for teams that are not yet ready to compete with top teams. Division 2 is similar to the second-tier divisions you see in national sanctioning organizations.
Here is how Triple Crown compares with other sanctioning bodies. However, we always encourage teams to play up. Division 1= Major or Upper AAA Division 2= AAA or AA

Pricing Information: Entry Fee includes:
1. 4-Game Guarantee
2. Gate fees for all venues
3. One dozen baseballs
4. 3-Man umpire mechanics in championship games in Championship Brackets
Awards: 1st-2nd Place Team Plaques, 1st and 2nd Place Individual Team Awards (Platinum/Championship Brackets only)
Equipment Required for Participants:
- Please make sure your online digital roster is COMPLETE by the Wednesday before the event.
- Each team must carry packet of birth certificates and proof of insurance throughout tournament.
- You need to provide two new baseballs and one used baseball at each plate meeting; you will get your baseballs back after the game.
- No metal spikes allowed on portable mounds (plastic molded, rubber cleats or tennis shoes please!)

This event has evolved into one of the largest and most competitive events in the state of Washington. 2021 marks Triple Crown's 14th year in the Tri-Cities community (Pasco, Richland, Kennewick).
Teams from ages 8-18 will get the superior organization and communication of Triple Crown Sports (rain or shine), and the coveted berths to the World Series in Colorado (8's, 10's, 11's, 13's, 14's), or Park City, UT (9's, 12's) later this summer.
